Ben Cotton (born July 26, 1975; Edmonton, Alberta) is a Canadian actor perhaps best known for his role in the TV series Stargate Atlantis playing the scientist Dr. Kavanagh. He is also known for his portrayel of "Leon Bell" in the game Dead Rising 2. He is also well known for playing Shane Pierce, the local townie, on CBS's Harper's Island.
