Cassandra "Cassie" Smythe was a bank-robbing paranormal who, as a synergist, is one of the most powerful breakouts on the planet. She becomes the object of Stephen’s fascination when he learns they share a psychic connection similar to the bond he experienced with Cara. She is also the daughter of Hugh Bathory.
She was played by Serinda Swan.

Stephen Jameson[]
Cassandra and Stephen had a connection like Cara and Stephen. They were very close probably due to the fact both are Synergists. She was willing to offer up her life to save Stephen.
Hugh Bathroy []
Cassandra and Hugh were a typical father daughter couple until she found out that he was a monster. He was nothing but the bane of her existence. She hated her father so much that she was willing to give up all of her powers just so she would not have to deal with him or Ultra ever again. He used her as a human guinea pig to test out if she could replace Roger in the device Hugh helped restore. When she had a chance to aid in her father's assassination, she never hesitated once and she even screamed "Shoot him already".
Powers and Abilities[]
- Telekinesis - The ability to move objects and people with her mind. Her telekinetic abilities are extremely focused as shown when she wrote "Hi dad" in the cement block with very little effort.
- Telepathy - The ability to hear the thoughts of others and project the thoughts of onself. Cassandra is capable of seeing through Stephen's eyes the same way he can do to her, but this is most likely due to the fact they are both synergists.
- Teleportation - The ability to instantly transport oneself and others to another location. Her teleportation ability is extremely powerful. She is capable of teleporting object without physical contact, with a wave of her hand she teleported the police cars away. She did the same thing when she teleported the bullets out of the police officer's guns.

- She is one of the two known Synergists, both parents being Tomorrow People, the other being Stephen.
- She wanted to be captured by Ultra to have her powers stripped.
- She has been given false memories, how this was done was not explained.
- She made her final appearance in episode 17 "Endgame".
