The Anax Project [1] is a dangerous procedure that takes away a Tomorrow Person's Prime Barrier and gives them the ability to kill a living thing. It was invented several years before the series by scientists at Ultra. Initially the project was shut down around the time John Young and Killian McCrane respectively went rogue, years later it was restarted when Hugh Bathory openly declared war on the Tomorrow People.
